Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a professional looking to grow their career in accounting and finance while gaining hands-on experience in core financial processes. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting activities, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting and compliance tasks. Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations and assist with financial recordkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and supporting files.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and data validation processes.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures.
• Assist in reviewing financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Support tax-related processes and basic financial reporting requirements.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and manage accounting data.
• Maintain updated and accurate information in accounting systems and internal records.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support ongoing accounting needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency within accounting operations.
• Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• English level B2 or higher (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with audit processes and tax compliance.
• Experience in financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies in accounting.
• Experience with audit firms or outsourcing environments.

We offer:

• Hybrid position based in Bogotá.
• Salary of 3,300,000 COP during the first 3 months, increasing to 3,900,000 COP after that period.
• Quarterly bonus of 25% and annual bonus of 50%.
